Principal
I was born in Charleston, South Carolina. I grew up on James Island and attended public schools there. After high school graduation I went to college in Rock Hill, SC and graduated from Winthrop College in 1971 with a BS in Elementary Education. Later, I attended the College of Charleston and graduated with a Master in Education degree in Elementary Education. I have continued my education at The Citadel to become certified a principal, supervisor, and teacher.
Two "Honors" include Distinguished Reading Teacher for Charleston Reading Council and South Carolina Distinguished Teacher for SC PTA.
I have served as assistant principal at Chicora Elementary School and principal at Ron McNair Elementary School before joining the team at Dunston School.
